The Louisville Division of Fire (LFD) will host two recruitment information sessions for local residents at the Louisville Urban League on June 11th, 2014 at 10am and 5pm.

Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with LFD recruiters one-on-one and gain valuable information regarding salary, benefits, the application process, testing requirements and other important information on how to become a professional firefighter in Metro Louisville.

Both sessions, lasting approximately one hour, will be held at the Louisville Urban League located at 1535 West Broadway.

The Louisville Urban League’s Center for Workforce Development will be hosting the event with the intention of attracting a diverse & qualified class of prospects to join Louisville Metro’s largest fire department.

Last year’s LFD Recruitment Class #182 graduated 40 recruits and has opened its application period for 2014.
