Louisville Urban League President to be Honored Nationally, as a Woman of Power

Louisville, KY, June 27, 2018— On Thursday, August 2nd at 12:30 PM the leader of the Louisville Urban League, Sadiqa N. Reynolds, Esq. will be honored by the NUL Board of Trustees as a Woman of Power Award at the Women of Power Awards Luncheon at the 2018 National Urban League Conference in Columbus, OH. Sadiqa will be honored alongside other groundbreaking leaders; Judy A. Smith, Founder and President, Smith & Company; The Honorable Joyce Beatty, U.S. Representative (D-OH 3rd District); Tarana Burke, Founder of the #MeToo Movement; La June Montgomery Tabron, President & CEO, W.K. Kellogg Foundation; and Rosalind (Roz) L. Hudnell, President of the Intel Foundation.

The Louisville Urban League is excited and honored to see the hard work and brilliance of our President and CEO be recognized National Urban League. It is an indication of her presence and impact, not only locally, but nationally as well. On matters of justice, education, employment, and urban renewal, such as the development of an indoor Track on Ali, her vision and leadership has been revolutionary.
