2018 Women Engaged Conference: Pathways to Support Women Who Have Lost A Child

Date: Saturday, June 23, 2018
Time: 9AM – 2PM
Location: 21c Louisville

The Women Engaged Conference: Pathways to Support Women Who Have Lost Children is designed to create sustainable support networks for women in our communities, particularly those who have lost a child to violence, illness, accident, or incarceration. Utilizing trained peer support persons from community and licensed counselors, we want to provide women with a safe space to grieve, recover, and grow in healthy and productive ways. Additionally, the conference will provide participants with the tools, resources, and connections they need well beyond the conference event.

Women who have lost a child and women seeking to support them are invited to attend.

The event will include: an opening keynote from WE founder, Diane Brown; a panel discussion comprised of community members, health professionals, and others; brunch; breakout sessions facilitated by trained peer mentors; and a closing keynote. Please purchase your tickets below.
