The Kenan Project seeks to aid young Black and Brown men and women, and other disenfranchised people, in finding a job-oriented pathway out of the systematic isolation in which so many find themselves. The Louisville Urban League wants to help these individuals find the career path they need to succeed! The Kenan Project provides:

  • Full-time and part-time opportunities
  • Second chance opportunities available
  • Job options in a variety of fields
  • Additional support provided in the areas of health, housing, and children where necessary
  • Must be 18 or older and have a current ID

If you, or someone you know, is looking for a job or a better job, simply:

  1. Complete the card to the right and give it to any Louisville Urban League staff member OR contact Carey Payne at (502) 585-4622 ext. 178
  2. Collect and organize your import files (ID, court documents, job history, resume)
  3. Set up an appointment to find the right career for you!
