SUMMARY:Welcome Reception for Lyndon Pryor
DESCRIPTION:On December 20\, 2023\, the Board of Directors for the Louisville Urban League announced Lyndon Pryor was unanimously selected as permanent President and CEO of the organization\, effective immediately. The board selected Pryor after a competitive three-month national search that involved certification by the National Urban League. Pryor has served as Interim since March of this year\, following the five-month tenure and departure of the previous CEO. \nOn January 18\, 2024\, the Board of Directors will host a reception for community partners\, members\, and friends of the League to welcome Lyndon Pryor as permanent President & CEO formally. The event will be held at the Muhammad Ali Center. Cocktails and small bites will be served. We hope you will join us.

Richmond Legacy Endowment at lul.org/donate-now.\n\nAdditionally\, Mr. Richmond battled Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML) and was a frequent recipient of blood transfusions to help manage his condition. Blood transfusions cannot cure AML\, but they can help manage symptoms and improve quality of life.
