27 Days of Businesses

Giving and Taking Action

Good Business is Anti-Racist

Companies need to step up and bring about the transformational change that communities and customers are demanding. By participating in the 27 Campaign you are making a strong statement against racism in support of greater equity and justice for your Black employees and business businesses.

Take Action

27 days of Kentucky companies stepping forward to publicly acknowledge that systemic racism is a problem that for-profit businesses must address by examining and updating internal policies and procedures. In addition, each company will donate a minimum of $1000 to the 27 Fund in support of Black business owners.

Learn and Grow

27 days of sharing and learning designed to expose business leaders to different viewpoints and best practices, and to provide space for healthy discussion around Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the workplace.

Why 27?

Breonna Taylor would have been 27 years old on June 5th. Her life was tragically cut short. To honor her, Canopy is bringing the business community together to commit to systemic change for greater diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace and supporting black business owners.
