REBOUND, Inc. Completes Another Multi-Family Complex, 

PortShaw Place Apartments

REBOUND, Inc. continues to address Louisville’s affordable housing problem with the grand opening of the PortShaw Place Apartment complex in the Shawnee neighborhood. This newly constructed property offers 38 income-based apartments with on-site parking and 24/7 security monitoring.

The available one- and two-bedroom units feature an eat-in kitchen, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, spacious closets, high-quality floors, and in-unit laundry hookups. This property is a joint venture between REBOUND, Inc. and PortShaw Community Development Corporation. PortShaw Place is the second multi-family affordable housing complex developed by REBOUND, Inc., within the last year.

In 1993, REBOUND, Inc. (Rebuilding Our Urban Neighborhood Dwellings) was created to increase housing development and neighborhood revitalization. With more than 300 affordable housing units completed, REBOUND continues to thrive and transform the city’s housing landscape.

The Louisville community is invited to the ribbon-cutting for PortShaw Place Apartment Complex in the Shawnee neighborhood. This newly constructed property offers 38 income-based apartments, on-site parking, and 24/7 security monitoring. This property is a joint venture between REBOUND, Inc. and PortShaw Community Development Corporation.

The celebration will include remarks from stakeholders and local dignitaries, apartment tours, and information on the Project-Based Voucher program.

This project was made possible with support from Louisville Metro Government, Louisville Affordable Housing Trust Fund, Louisville Urban League, Park Community Credit Union, Louisville Metro Housing Authority, Portland Memorial Baptist Church, and Councilwoman Donna Purvis.
