LEGAL AID SOCIETY’S COVID-19 RESPONSE AND RESOURCES

Civil legal aid is a critical resource in our community’s efforts to fight the COVID-19 pandemic and the economic impact due to the virus. In March, as businesses began to close and Kentuckians began to lose their jobs, Legal Aid Society launched a resource page on our website:   www.yourlegalaid.org/covid19responseandresources.   This page is regularly updated with important legal information to help individuals should they have questions regarding unemployment insurance, stimulus payments, housing, and family law issues.

Resources include:

TOP FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT YOUR RIGHTS AS A RENTER

TOP FIVE THINGS TO KNOW IF YOU ARE EXPERIENCING DOMESTIC VIOLENCE

TOP FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT UNEMPLOYMENT INSURNACE

TOP FIVE THINGS TO KNOW ABOUT STIMULUS PAYMENTS

The webpage also features a robust Frequently Asked Questions page about unemployment insurance and employee rights.
