The Louisville Urban League has made a formal request for inquiry and public accountability from the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office, including all official reports, all available video evidence, officer identity and duty status, the specific charges against the child, and information on any initiated internal investigation by the department, including its scope, timeline, and preliminary findings. More importantly, swift and appropriate disciplinary action, such as retraining, suspension, or termination, should be taken.

We anxiously await a quick and public response.
