Program Overview

The Energy Works program combines training and career readiness, support services, and national energy industry credentials. Participants must successfully apply to an apprenticeship program, complete the Energy Industry Fundamentals 2.0 curriculum, and meet regularly with an Energy Works Job Coach.

The Urban Energy Jobs Program is a joint initiative of the Center for Energy Workforce Development (CEWD) and the National Urban League. The partnership targets key industry occupations in the solar, wind, nuclear, electric, natural gas, and other clean energy sectors.
