Project Ready
Preparing Students for Success Beyond High School
Project Ready is a free college, career, and leadership development program for high school students in grades 9–12. Through engaging workshops, hands-on experiences, college visits, career exploration, mentoring, and individualized support, students gain the knowledge, confidence, and skills needed to successfully transition from high school into college, technical training, military service, or the workforce.
Throughout the school year, students participate in:
- College and career exploration activities
- Leadership development and community service opportunities
- Financial literacy and life skills workshops
- College application, FAFSA, scholarship, and financial aid support
- Resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace readiness training
- College tours, career site visits, and guest speakers
- Academic support, goal setting, and personal development
Students also have access to caring staff members who provide encouragement, guidance, and connections to valuable community resources throughout their high school journey.

Application Process
A parent or guardian and the student should complete the Project Ready application in its entirety. Applications are reviewed to ensure students meet program eligibility requirements.
Applicants may be asked to provide:
- Student’s most recent report card or transcript
- Parent/guardian consent forms
- Student information and emergency contact information
- Any additional documents requested during the enrollment process
Our team will review each application and supporting documents. Eligible students and families will be contacted for a brief conversation to learn more about their goals and interests.
Families will receive notification regarding their application status. Accepted students will receive enrollment instructions, program expectations, and important dates.
- Students and parents/guardians are required to attend a Project Ready Orientation before programming begins. During orientation, families will:
- Meet the Project Ready team.
- Learn about program expectations and opportunities.
- Review the program schedule and attendance requirements.
- Receive important program materials and resources.
