Begin your career in the construction skilled trades with a strong foundation. Through an articulation agreement between IKORCC and The Louisville Urban League, we offer accelerated access to union apprenticeship opportunities for students enrolled in the KYB program. The Center for Workforce Development offers several NCCER introductory core curriculum courses to help you launch your career in construction:

Urban Senior Jobs Program

Senior Tech (*available for USJP participants only)

FREE computer classes to help teach people 55+ and over how to use basic office applications (e.g., Word, Excel), email, social media, and Zoom.  The program makes it an easy-to-understand tool for senior learning.

GoSkills (*available for USJP participants only)  

Learn the most in-demand skill for your career from expert instructors through flexible, self-paced learning that fits your schedule. Earn a verified certificate of achievement and Continuing Education Units (CEUs) or Professional Development Units (PDUs). Available GoSkills courses include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Office, Lean Six Sigma, Finance, Project Management, and Office Productivity.
