LUL Deposit Assistance

The Louisville Urban League is providing deposit assistance through a Louisville Metro Government-funded program. The assistance can cover the deposit and the first month’s rent on a new unit for those who qualify. To apply, read through the requirements below and then click the button to complete an application. Once all paperwork is in and correctly completed, your application will be reviewed for approval. Please be aware this is a first come, first serve program until funds run out, an application does not guarantee that you will receive funding.

Purpose: Assist Jefferson County residents who are facing housing instability with Deposit + One Month Rent.

Geography: Only available to residents of Jefferson County

Given the high demand, the Louisville Urban League has revamped the Deposit Assistance process to better serve the community.
The Deposit Assistance application period is closed for the month of April 2024.
The link to apply for Deposit Assistance will be open from the 1st to the 20th of the month. From the 21st to the end of the month, the link will be closed so that we can process applications. We will not accept applications during that time. This process will continue until funds are exhausted.
We understand this change will take time to get used to, but we are confident it will help us serve the community more effectively and efficiently. Thank you for your patience and consideration.
