The National Urban League and its affiliates across the country have banded together to respond to the devastation in the aftermath of Hurricanes Harvey and Irma. Thousands individuals served by the programs of the Urban League have seen their entire lives uprooted by the storms. The Houston Area Urban League has established a hurricane relief fund, matching funds of up to $100,000 to assist hurricane victims in their areas. Please contribute what you can.
We will continue to monitor recovery efforts and share ways to help, while keeping those devastated by Hurricane Maria in Puerto Rico and vast portions of the Caribbean in our thoughts and prayers.
