Postponed Indefinitely

With regret, we are postponing our planned meeting with the Center for Nonprofit Excellence scheduled for noon to 3:00 on Thursday, March 19. Since we invited you a few days ago, concern about convening groups of people in light of the COVID-19 pandemic has risen sharply at the local, state, and national levels. We don’t want you to have to decide between your health and participating in this event.

The folks at CNPE are eager to get your perspective on the challenges and opportunities you face in your nonprofit – and how CNPE might help you meet those challenges and seize those opportunities. We plan to reschedule another three-hour “focused listening” session with CNPE as soon as it is safe and reasonable to do that.

Meanwhile, do your best to carry out your organization’s mission without compromising your clients’ safety or your own. We will be contacting you again once the coast is clear.

They want to hear what you need to help your nonprofit grow even stronger and more effective. They want to learn about your capacity and needs, how you meet them today, and how CNPE might help meet them in the future. They want to find a path to greater collaboration and innovation.

This conversation will be guided by David Hunt, an experienced social-change facilitator. Your leadership is invited to join us for this lunch conversation as we reimagine and reinvent Louisville’s “Social Impact Sector.” We hope that you will come away from this extended conversation excited about new ways for your nonprofit to fulfill its mission.
