On Tuesday, September 24, the Louisville Urban League and Protect Our Schools KY will host a conversation about Amendment 2 and the devastating impact it will have on public education if it passes. Our schools are already underfunded and are facing teacher and staff shortages. Instead of taking money out of public schools, we should invest in proven strategies to improve student learning – reducing class sizes so students get individual attention, improving teacher training, and increasing parental
involvement.

We invite community leaders to join us and learn more about the proposed legislation, how to discuss it with their organizations and constituents and understand why they should vote “no” on Amendment 2.
