Hello Everyone,
Hope you are all remaining healthy and at peace! Due to COVID-19 being active within our community, we were not able to host Books and Breakfast Louisville this past Saturday. Recognizing the many stressors COVID-19 has brought us, Books and Breakfast Louisville has collaborated with Children Shouldn’t Hunger and Kentucky Greens Company. Children Shouldn’t Hunger is a local organization whose mission is to ensure that those within our community do not go without food. Children Shouldn’t Hunger funds the breakfast we offer at Books and Breakfast Louisville. This month, we are using those funds to offer fresh vegetables from Kentucky Greens to twenty individuals or families within our community FOR FREE! Kentucky Greens Company is a local company that provides our community with fresh vegetables straight from their farm. Orders would consist of collard greens, kale, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes. These vegetables being provided by Kentucky Greens are fresh for 14 days when refrigerated! If you are interested or know of anyone who may be, please comment below, and we will contact you regarding delivery. Also, please take a look at the resources being offered within the community for COVID-19.
  • There are 20 free vegetable orders available (one order per individual/family).
  • Each order will consist of collard greens, kale, lettuce, and cherry tomatoes.
  • Please comment on this post by this Friday, April 3rd by 5:00PM to receive an order.
  • Expected delivery is this upcoming Saturday and Sunday, April 4th and 5th.
