WHAT:
Press Conference: On Monday, January 22, at 10AM, the League will host a press conference to announce plans for the new Reily Reentry Project along with new partnerships with the law firm, Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, and the Legal Aid Society who have agreed to supply attorneys to process and file expungement requests.

WHY:
Following a donation from Stephen Reily, the Louisville Urban League created the Reily Reentry Project, designed to assist Louisville Urban League clients and others seeking to expunge their record. This project will
– connect eligible participants with attorneys who will assist in the expungement process,
– provide additional services and resources along the way,
– and cover all related fees at no expense.

The support from Wyatt, Tarrant & Combs, LLP, Legal Aid, and other attorneys will allow the project’s funding to go further and assist more individuals move beyond their past and into prosperous futures.
