REVITALIZATION / GENTRIFICATION: How to bring prosperity to a neighborhood and protect current residents, home owners and renters

Louisville has changed from 10 years ago; neighborhoods with lower than median property values are experiencing a new focus. This is a forum to see how we can: a) bring prosperity and b) protect the current residents so they are not forced out and c) preserve neighborhood character. How do we provide guidance and protections to have in place ahead of time.

We will have a mix of neighborhood people, developers, Metro Louisville people and even academics. Even to agree on definitions of words we us all the time will help with have conversations.
