Wellness groups are a great way to discuss and understand mental health concepts that connect to your daily lives and improve your self-care. The community self-care wellness groups are co-facilitated and meet once a week for 8 weeks. New groups will form every two months.

Groups include:

  • Black Women
  • Black Men
  • Black Families
  • Black LGBTQ+
  • Black Middle & High School Students
  • Black Young Adults (18-25)
  • Black Activists
  • Black Caregivers

How to register for the Community Self-Care Wellness Groups!

  1. Go to communityselfcareprogram.com 

  2. Click Register

  3. Fill out the registration form

  4. Choose the group you want to attend (Black women, men, etc.)

  5. Indicate if you need free childcare (during the registration process)

  6. Show up for YOU! Let’s begin to talk!

During our soft launch, we allow folks to register until the 3rd week (3/25/23). Groups will meet once a week for eight weeks. New groups will form every eight weeks. We have partnered with Play Cousins Collective to provide childcare services! During this process, participants can submit testimonials on their social media platforms using the hashtag #blkselfcarelou! Let’s heal together.
