This summer, the youth of the Louisville Urban League Youth Development and Education Program, Project Ready, have been preparing to compete in the National Urban League’s Case Competition. Their proposal titled RootED, focused on revitalizing communities by converting abandoned lot space into community gardens. Wednesday July 13, 2016 they competed and earned the First Place title! We are so proud to have such a bright group of young people represent the Louisville Urban League and the city of Louisville.
