The Louisville Urban League is launching Phase II of our capital campaign for the LUL Sports and Learning Complex, this time offering a way for all organizations in the area to easily participate in this transformational project! For businesses located in the west end and downtown of Louisville – organizations right in the backyard of where the complex will be built – we will be hand delivering a packet of information to them. Which means…we need some extra hands!
Please join us on June 21 and/or June 25 to spread the word about this project and the ways to support its development. The task is quite simple:
- Meet at the Urban League at 9am each day for a quick training and your materials for the day.
- You’ll receive a list of businesses to visit along with a packet of information to drop off.
- While you’re at the business, you’ll have the chance to create a quick video of your experience that can be shared on social media to spread the word and the campaign.
- We know you may not be able to the entire day, but are asking you to commit to a morning or afternoon.
Youth, accompanied by an adult, are especially encouraged to participate! Thank you for choosing to #RUNWITHUS!
